I know it seems like a long time between albums, but we really are making some headway on the sequel. Both of us are very busy with work and side projects, so finding time to create a big labour of love equal to Monjour is not as easy as you would think. I have been putting more emphasis on the video side of my business, and Cass has been inundated with mastering work as his high standarda have been recognised by some great artists.
So here's where we are. We have already written the tracks, in fact we have over 65 minutes of material at the current moment so we will need to cull a little bit before the album release. We're currently at the stage where we involve the guest artistes, and I can conform that Don Latarski is making a very welcome return on at least one of the tracks. We're both delighted that Don wanted to be involved, and the contribution he's made will I'm sure be a highlight. There are some other guests in the pipeline, but I'm not allowed to mention any names at the moment.
iTunes
We are currently off iTunes as we are switching from Tunecore to CD Baby as our online distributor. However, you get a much higher quality download through the Bandcamp system which is featured at the top of the page. Bear with us and we'll notify you when we're back up on iTunes.
Cheers, Paul

Interested in licencing some of Monjour for a film, TV or web project? We've put together some licencing appropriate mixes especially for this purposes. Some are stripped down arrangements of the songs, others are the atmospheric ambient pieces separated out for extra effect. And there are also a couple that didn't quite make the flow of the album, but are still great tracks nonetheless.

| We're pleased to announce that as of July 2011 we've started working on the sequel to Monjour. We have 7 or 8 solid track ideas to choose from at the moment, and one or two may pop up along the way, but it's going to be a long path. We have to arrange performances of some of the pieces, re-record the ideas properly and then go through the mixing process to create those big, polyrythmic, spacious mixes. So don't expect it in August.
But seriously, now that Calamity Studio is back up and running in the new Kuala Lumpur location, we will be concentrating a lot on getting the next album out sometime in early 2012. Assuming the world hasn't ended by then.
This time our approach will be more 'song-based'. There will be some ambient material on there, but the most popular tracks were the ones with the big tunes, like Rainy Day Diva and Sunset Over Manda Valley. So we're aiming to make something even more special than the first album. We're also going to be featuring some new talented artists who will be guesting on the tracks. So please bear with us for a short time and stay in touch. If you'd like updates, just join our Facebook page.
